Digital Foundation Corporation Awarded SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e)
Waldorf‚ MD, July 23‚ 2010 - Digital Foundation Corporation has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indenfinite-quantity multiple-award contract by the Navy's SeaPort Enhanced acquisition program. The contract was awarded after a competitive bidding procurement conducted by the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Web site.
Of the 579 applicants, 556 were awarded contracts. Along with the 555 other contractors, Digital Foundation Corporation will compete for service requirement solicitations by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, and the Marine Corps.
The award has a four-year base period with one five-year award term. Funding will be provided at the time of the task order award, enabling multiple funding types to be used
The SeaPort-e Contract allows Digital Foundation to offer its services to the Department of Navy through the SeaPort-e contracting vehicle. As an 8(a) Certified, Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business we hope to establish a greater presence with the Navy by providing information technology solutions, professional training and administrative support services.
